Aside from the name and characters, Bungie hasn’t revealed anything about the season, although it seems likely that it will pave the way for The Witch Queen expansion. Once the livestream ends, Bungie will update Destiny 2 and players can dive into the new content. Season of the Lost, which stars Mara Sov and Osiris in the Dreaming City, will also launch on Tuesday. The studio hasn’t revealed the length of the Destiny Showcase. It's a bit of a sweeping response to the exploit, but disabling the entire system so that Bungie can figure out what specifically went wrong is the best - and quickest - response. Those hoping to join in should save their Twitch subscriptions. Bungie reportedly turned off the bounty so that it could no longer be claimed, so there's no more infinite XP to capitalize on. The exploit is technically infinite, so Destiny 2 players were using the reward to complete unending ranks of seasonal XP. It's the XP that turned out to be a problem. The reward was a bundle of in-game content, including 5000 glimmer, 3 enhancement cores, 3 Twitch Watchers' Shade shaders, an exclusive emblem, and most importantly 12,000 XP.
